Hello, I’m Mary Moylan, the voice behind DocuThinker.
I have a professional background in documentary research and production and have worked with the George Lucas Educational Foundation on web documentaries about public education. My research background includes British and international cinema, as well as an interdisciplinary research training from the University of London in social science and philosophy. I am currently writing a book on the films of Lourdes Portillo. The research for this project reflects the malleability of the documentary form. My recently published articles can be found within both the print and online magazines for The International Documentary Association, IDA.org.
